The Real Warriors Campaign

Throughout the month of April, the Real Warriors Campaign will be reaching out to military families to promote awareness and use of psychological health tools and resources available through www.realwarriors.net.

Celebrate the Month of the Military Child this April by spending time with your loved ones and learning about the importance of family resilience and readiness. The Real Warriors Campaign offers tips and resources to help military families manage the unique challenges they may face as part of military life, such as communicating with children about deployment, transitioning through a reunion or coping with psychological health concerns. In April, join the Real Warriors Campaign in celebrating military children for their heroism, courage, sacrifices and resilience.

A Resource for Young Adults: StrengthofUs

StrengthofUs is an online community developed by NAMI and young adults. It’s designed to inspire young adults impacted by mental health issues to think positive, stay strong and achieve their goals through peer support and resource sharing. We believe every young adult deserves to feel hopeful, supported and encouraged to love who they are.

StrengthofUs provides opportunities for you to connect with your peers and offer support, encouragement and advice and share your real world experiences, personal stories, creativity, resources and ultimately, a little bit of your wonderful and unique self. It is a user-generated and user-driven community; so basically it’s whatever you make it. Everything here has been developed and created by and for young adults with you specifically in mind…because we think you’re worth it! We hope every time you visit, you find hope, encouragement, support and most of all, the strength to live your dreams and goals.
